In the first instance, please contact us directly to discuss your concerns. We will do our best to resolve the matter promptly and to your satisfaction.

If we are unable to resolve the matter, you may complain to the Notaries Society of which we are a member. They have a Complaints Procedure approved by the Faculty Office. This procedure is free to use and is designed to provide a quick resolution to any dispute. Please write with full details of your complaint, but do not enclose any original documents.

Our notarial practice is regulated through the Faculty Office of the Archbishop of Canterbury. If you have any difficulty making a complaint in writing, the Faculty Office can assist.

If you are not satisfied with the outcome of the Notaries Society complaints procedure, or after a period of 8 weeks from the date you first notified us of your dissatisfaction, you may refer your complaint to the Legal Ombudsman. You must do so within one year from the act or omission, or within one year from when you should reasonably have known there was cause for complaint.
